Why do Pilates?
Due to work life stresses and the amount of time spent at computers etc., it is common that poor postures become a bad habit. This affects your muscle balance. Core muscles become weak and other muscles become tight and inflexible, increasing the risk of back or neck pain.
What is Pilates?
Pilates is a mind and body conditioning programme which targets the deep muscles of the abdomen and spine. Pilates combines awareness of the deep postural and stability muscles, breathing sequences, and alignment, with suppleness and flexibility. This improves the overall central core stability and posture of the body.
