Her father is buried in Osbournby and her mother in Careby. If anyone can give me any further information I would be very grateful. Wednesday, 28 May 2008 at 17:07:58 Terence Burton | I am researching my mothers side of the family. Her maiden name was Daft. Her father was named Samuel Daft and was born in Bingham Nottinghamshire. His father was Henry Daff (note the name was then Daff not Daft!) and he was born in Little Bytham in 1841 approx. He married Jane Caswell on 15th Feb 1872 in Nocton Lincs. His father was also a Henry Daff. Her fathrs name was Samuel Caswell and she was born in Blakney. I hope that some one can give me some information which would help us to get further in our research. We visited Little Bytham today to see if we could see any thing in the grave yard but to no avail. But what a lovely village. Thank you.
