… around Rutland Water

Across the county boundary in neighbouring Rutland, cycle trails, varying in length from 3 miles to 25 miles, have been established around Rutland Water.  Cycles routes, involving cycling on minor roads and cycle paths, have also been marked from surrounding villages to the reservoir.

Rutland Water is 9 miles from Castle Bytham and 11 miles from Little Bytham by minor roads and a limited number of cycle paths – well worth the effort!  If you prefer to drive there then parking is available, for a charge, in public car parks and you can also hire cycles from Rutland Cycling.
