Bourne supermarket worker’s murder: Alan’s killers are still on the loose
A new documentary has focused on the brutal murder of Alan Wood as the sixth anniversary of his death draws close.
The 50-year-old supermarket worker and gardener, described by a friend as “a kind, big cuddly teddy bear”, was found dead at home in Lound, near Bourne, on Saturday, October 24, 2009.

Experts probe Alan Wood murder in TV documentary on Sunday
The brutal murder of Alan Wood will be in the spotlight again in a major TV documentary on Sunday.
Experts including Clive Driscoll, the retired Metropolitan Police senior officer who secured convictions for the 1993 murder of Stephen Lawrence, review the gruesome events that led to Alan Wood (50) being found dead in a pool of blood at his home in Lound, near Bourne, on October 24 2009.
Donal MacIntyre: Unsolved airs on CBS Reality at 10pm on Sunday with a repeat showing at 9pm on Monday.
