Christmas Refuse Bin Collections 2011/12

South Kesteven District Council are amending their refuse collection days to accommodate the Christmas period as follows …

Normal collection on Monday 26 December will be collected on Saturday 24 December
Normal collection on Tuesday 27 December will be collected on Wednesday 28 December
Normal collection on Monday 2 January will be collected on Saturday 31 December

Winter Warmer Christmas Walk 2011

If you are interested in a walk after the Christmas holiday to walk off some of that turkey then head along to the Willoughby Arms at 11am on Tuesday 27 December.

The  1 1/2 hour walk will take in the beautiful local countryside and bring dogs, kids, mums and dads back to the pub for lunch and a few drinks.

All are welcome – just turn up on the day.

Willoughby Arms Christmas Pub Quiz

Irish bingo, mince pies, Cliff Richard (groan!), lines from carols no one had heard of, a raffle for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance and merriment all round all formed part of the Willoughby Arms Christmas Pub Quiz on Tuesday 12 December 2011.

After the last round the team scores read …
1st : Higgs Bosun – 123pts
2nd : The Only Way is Essex – 108pts
3rd : Clean Break – 105pts
4th : Staits – 100pts
5th : No F in Balloon – 99pts
6th : Weird Fish – 87pts
7th : Hobson & Johnson – Resigned

Following its first 6 months as The No.10 Store Meg and Tom have reviewed the opening times of the shop and have decided to change their opening times, from Monday 19 December 2011, to be …
Monday to Friday : 8.00am to 7.30pm (previously 7.00am to 8.00pm)
Sunday : 9.00am to 2.00pm (no change)
