Help police catch Alan Wood’s killers

Two years on from the brutal murder of Alan Wood police are still hunting for his killers.

Alan, who was last seen alive at The Willoughby Arms, in Little Bytham, was subjected to a horrific and sustained attack in his home in Lound, near Bourne. His body was found on October 24, 2009.

Willoughby Arms Pub Quiz

The second in the season of Pub Quiz’s at the Willoughby Arms in Little Bytham takes place on Tuesday 15 November at 8pm.  Teams, of up to 6 people, are welcome to enter for a nominal fee of £1 per person. All proceeds from the November Quiz are being donated to the Friends of Bythams School (FOBS).

 

Coffee Mornings in Little Bytham

From Tuesday 1 November 2011 Coffee Mornings will commence again in Little Bytham Village Hall.  The Mornings will take place on the first and third Tuesday of each month between 10am and 12noon.   Complimentary refreshments will be available on Tuesday 1st and it will be a good opportunity to see the renovations that have taken place over the last few months.

Willoughby Arms Pub Quiz

The new season of Pub Quiz’s at the Willoughby Arms in Little Bytham kicks off on Tuesday 18 October at 8pm.  Teams, of up to 6 people, are welcome to enter for a nominal fee of £1 per person. All proceeds from the October Quiz are being donated to the fund for the Alan Wood Memorial Garden.

 

Jumble Sale

There will be a Jumble Sale in Castle Bytham Village Hall on Saturday 17 September from 1.30pm. As well as the sale there will also be refreshments available and a raffle.

If you are able to donate jumble, such as clothes and bric-a-brac but no large items or electrical appliances, then the hall will be open for it to be ‘dropped-off’ between 7.00pm and 9.00pm on Friday 16 September.
