A smaller turn-out at The Pub Quiz at the Willoughby Arms tonight but never-the-less a good evening with a ‘celebrity-round’, a variation on the traditional ‘impossible’ music round and a drama at the end with a two-round-tie-break decider between Buffer Stops and Kips Round.

The final scores were as follows …

1st : Buffer Stops : 142pts
2nd : Kips Round : 142pts
3rd : Happy Tuesdays : 133 pts
4th : United States : 128pts
5th : Scousers : Retired to Bed Early!

Volunteers Needed for New LIVES Group to Serve Local Villages

Volunteers are needed for a new group of life savers setting up in our local villages.

Lincolnshire Integrated Voluntary Emergency Service (LIVES) is appealing to any interested people in the Castle Bytham, Little Bytham, Careby and Carlby area to get in touch about training to become a First responder, to save lives in their local areas.

Lincolnshire Arson Probe Police Release Firework Photo

Police have released a photograph of a firework they believe was used in an arson attack on the home of an elderly couple in Lincolnshire.

CCTV footage of a cyclist with a backpack filmed 30 minutes before the fire on 4 May has also been released.

Lincolnshire Police have also updated their own news page relating to the incident, which now includes additional images and video footage of the cyclist seen in the area at the time of the attack.
