Residents of Castle Bytham have long fought and fund-raised for the return of a shop, which is now due to open in the New Year.

The grey tractor was taken sometime between September 1 and September 7 from a yard in Glen Road.

Burglaries at two houses in Creeton Road, Little Bytham

Two houses have been burgled in Little Bytham.

The properties, on Creeton Road, were broken into between September 5 and September 8.

Drug wipe test leads to arrest in Castle Bytham

Police arrested a driver in Water Lane, Castle Bytham after a ‘DrugWipe’ test gave a positive result.

The test picks up traces of cannabis, cocaine and other drugs that can remain in a person’s system longer than alcohol. The drug wipe test is followed up by a blood test.
