Lincolnshire vicar Susan Evans prays for good weather

A Lincolnshire vicar whose church is named after the patron saint of the weather has urged people to pray for a brighter outlook as this January has become the wettest on record for some parts of Britain.

The Reverend Susan Evans, from the Church of St Medard and St Gildard, in Little Bytham in the south of the county, last night led prayed with her flock and reportedly said: “Dear Lord, we’ve had enough.”
