Fashion fundraiser at Castle Bytham Village Hall

Tickets are now on sale for a charity fashion show taking place on Friday, next week (April 1) at Castle Bytham Village Hall.

The fabulous event, starting at 7.30pm, will feature top fashions from the high street, including the likes of Next, M&S, River Island and Wallis – all available to purchase on the night at discounted prices.

The Flying Scotsman returns to Peterborough after 10 year restoration this week

The legendary steam locomotive The Flying Scotsman will pass through Peterborough this week following 10 years of renovation.

The locomotive will be touring the country and will pass through the city on its inaugural run on Thursday, February 25, on its journey from London to York. It will also pass through Stamford and Grantham.

This new alliance will give the member practices taking part the opportunity to explore new and innovative ways of providing the highest quality safe care closer to the patient’s home.

Pupils in the Year 5/6 class at Bythams Primary School have had a homework topic linked to space, as they’ve been inspired by the story of the astronaut and his six-month journey on the International Space Station.

Anger as thieves steal £5,000 of tools from Bythams Woodland Trust

Bythams SpinneyThe chairman of a community trust has condemned “callous” thieves who stole thousands of pounds worth of tools.

Volunteers for the Bythams Woodland Trust turned up to The Spinney in Little Bytham to do their regular maintenance work on January 23. But when they arrived, they found the door of their steel storage container had been ripped open, and several expensive pieces of equipment had been stolen.
