A couple who celebrated 60 loving years together have said that the secret to a long and happy marriage is having a laugh with one another.
Bernard and Betty Windsor celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary on Thursday last week, together with their two sons Andrew and Terry.
The pair, who met as young children whilst growing up in the same village in Little Bytham, got married in 1955, when Betty was aged 18 and Bernard was 21. Betty recalled that their church wedding in Little Bytham “really was a white wedding” as it was snowing.

Police are reminding the public to secure their vehicles after thieves stole items from unlocked cars.
Two Castle Bytham residents had their cars entered ovenight between Thursday and Friday, when they were left unlocked parked on their driveways.
