Great turn-out for the Willoughby Arms Pub Quiz on Tuesday 12 April.  Some interesting questions and lively banter between the teams made for a good evening.   Final scores, after 10 rounds, were as follows …

Bythams Primary School Open Morning

The Village Tea Room

From Wednesday 11 May 2011 there will be a Village Tea Room open in Castle Bytham Village Hall on Wednesdays and Thursdays between 10.00am and 2.30pm.  The Tea Room will be serving delicious cakes, tasty lunches and hot & cold drinks.  Its hoped to open on Tuesdays as well from September with extended opening hours on all days.  Why not pop along and support this new initiative which was one of the proposals in the Castle Bytham Village Plan?

Driver Airlifted to Pilgrim Hospital after Accident

A 20 year old woman was airlifted to the Pilgrim Hospital in Boston after suffering head injuries when her car was involved in an accident on Wednesday 30 March at around 5.45pm.

The woman was driving a Toyota Yaris car which was in collision with a Volkswagen Golf near West Farm on the road between Little Bytham and Witham on the Hill. Continue reading
