Virgin London Marathon Challenge (added 09/03/11 : MG)
My wife Claire and I live in Little Bytham and are both serving in the Royal Air Force. We are entering the London Marathon on 17 April 2011 and are raising money for the Forces Children’s Trust. This charity raises money to enable children, who have lost their Mother or Father during recent conflict, to enjoy a day out or weekend away and go a little way to brightening their days. We feel that this is a fantastic Charity as it’s not just the troops that are affected by loss but also the families that are left behind. There is more detailed information on their website at www.forceschildrenstrust.org. We’ve been training for a couple of weeks so far and there will, no doubt, be some dark days ahead … the size of the challenges is slowly starting to dawn on us! It is our aim to raise over £1000 for The forces Children’s Trust and we hope that some of you would be able to help us achieve this target. If you feel that you are in a position to donate then please visit the ‘Just Giving’ website at www.justgiving.com/Claire-Pablo
Wish us luck. We appreciate any donations.
