The Chart Show TV channel has launched on Freeview channel 67.
It’s being carried on the signal that is carrying local TV to town and cities across the UK, and is only available on Freeview in locations where local TV has already launched, or will launch later this year.
Luckily theBythams is one of them areas!
In just week, theBythams area will get an extra five HD channels from the Waltham (East Midlands) transmitter.
To get the extra channels, you will already need to receive BBC One HD, BBC Two HD etc via your Freeview HD TV/box or YouView device.
The extra HD channels to look out for are :-
Great news for people that can already receive Freeview HD channels 101-105 and can receive services from the Waltham (East Midlands) transmitter will gain access to BBC Four HD, CBeebies HD, BBC News HD and Al Jazeera English HD as well as standard definition Al Jazeera Arabic.
To get the extra channels, viewers with a Freeview HD or YouView device should retune on the 25th March 2014.
Several transmitters, centred on Waltham near Melton Mowbray, will be switched off from midnight on 29 May.
Affected householders will need to retune their Freeview boxes to restore services.
The work is being done to free up more airwave space for the 4G mobile phone service.
